Lifespan Development, my class this week, was focused on looking at the human lifespan, particularly the issue of "complete discipleship," based on the image of God (Imago Dei). All of us as humans were made in God's image--he formed us to be in his likeness & breathed life into us. He also gave us Jesus, his son, in the same form as us--to show us how to live & to bear our sins! Because of this, we strive daily to reflect the purest image of God that we can.
This was the best start to seminary I could have asked for--an interesting & interactive class with a great teacher. Next week I continue with The Minister of Education, another class I'm excited about! It feels good to be officially a student again!
